Award Winner: Soulfully Guided founder Carmel-Anne named Australia’s Most Compassionate Spiritualist and Tarot Reader 2023
2 June 2023I believe Tarot is a key/tool to accessing one’s intuition, subconscious and higher self. It opens the door to great reflection and insight of a person, their energy and their life and the experience they are learning and going through (based around the question a client is asking). Tarot is a useful tool to delve and reach deep within yourself (and others) to see both the good (positive) and negative (shadow) sides of ourselves and a situation we are going through. It promotes us to be open to receive and get closer to our highest self and our best path and to be the best version of ourselves by looking deeply into our life. Tarot can provide people with a lot of knowledge about themselves, hope for their future through looking at their life as it is today and also through awareness, the ability/opportunity to let go of the past (through this awareness and access to their subconscious) and through their openness to receive divine and intuitive information.
Tarot can be used to provide insight to a person, their situation and provide them with the strength, courage and knowledge to move forward and leaves a person feeling positive, empowered, enlightened and in more control of their life thus more knowledgeable about the experience they are currently going through. Tarot will allow you to delve deeply into the past and the present to guide you and open your mind, heart and soul and to be present to the path you feel is best for you. When a person is open to receiving, tarot opens and aligns your eyes, your mind, your heart and soul to provide options and gateways to make all your tomorrows better through more awareness of your situation today.
Tarot will always guide you to your best and highest path but it will never demand anything of you or tell you what to do, it will simply look deeply into your past and present to guide you on the potential path/s to take to live your best life and be your best self from today onwards. The choice and path you take will, however, always be yours. There is no obligation to follow the advice you are being given.
The traditional tarot deck (Rider-Waite) is 78 tarot cards. This consists of 22 Major Arcana cards, 40 Minor Arcana cards and 16 (4 per suit) court cards. The Major Arcana cards represent large (karmic) life lessons and experiences (that are able to influence and affect your soul and life journey). The Minor Arcana cards are broken into four suits (each based on an element), Wands are fire, Cups are water, Pentacles are earth and Swords are air. The Minor Arcana are everyday type experiences that we encounter in our lives and that will pass whereas the court cards are known to represent personalities and people.
When we shuffle the cards, make an intention and ask the tarot deck a question – we are placing the energy of the client into the cards through a beautiful and open (to receive) connection and exchange. The cards are then fanned out and chosen then laid out into a spread where each position represents a different aspect of the question and through this energy the reader is able to connect with their intuition and also apply their knowledge of the meaning of the cards to interpret their clients’ spread based around the client and their question in order to provide a deep and insightful interpretation that stems from the readers unconscious mind, higher self (and/or spiritual guides), intuition and knowledge of the cards. It is a beautiful exchange and experience between reader and client (querent) and can leave a person feeling empowered and more aware of their circumstances and how to manage their topic in question.
