The traditional tarot deck is made up of 78 cards and is known as the Rider-Waite deck. The Minor Arcana cards are broken into four suits, each based on an element: Wands represent fire, Cups are water, Pentacles represent earth and Swords are air. These Minor Arcana cards depict everyday experiences that come and go, while the court cards represent the different personalities and people we might encounter or it can even represent ourselves and our character/personality.
